DIRECTIONS FROM I-91 (towards Bradley Airport)

Follow signs to Bradley--take exit 40, you're going Route 20West

After three or four exits you will be "exiting" to stay on Rt 20West (sign says "Granby and East Granby"--if you stayed straight on the road--you'd end up at the airport).

Follow this for 5.3 miles to downtown Granby.   You'll pass thru East Granby on the way.

Now you'll come to the intersection of Rt 20 and Rt 10.   Stay in the right hand lane at the light and then go straight across.   By straight I mean bear a little to your right.   Basically, don't make a hard left or a hard right.   The only other option is straightish.

Right after you cross the intersection the road will split.   Stay to the left on Rt 20.   The right hand lane takes you to Rt 189.   You will be on Rt 20 for approximately another 4.5 miles.

Take your first right after you pass the junction with Rt 219.   You are turning on Beman Road which is only about 200 yards long.

At the stop sign, turn left onto Higley Road, you'll be on Higley for only about a quarter of a mile.

At the split in the road is a yellow house.   You'll turn to the right onto Silkey Road.

Follow Silkey 0.3 miles to the top of the hill.   We're almost at the crest of the hill, but not quite.   Our driveway is right at the top on the right hand side immediately after a telephone poll.   The number 24 is hanging on a sign from a tree, and it's also painted on one of the rocks lining the driveway.

Pull into the driveway.   As there will be a number of cars, please feel free to park on the grass so that everyone will fit.
