For those who have taken my Intro to Copperplate course or have experience with copperplate, this 4-week class will be project-oriented. We will continue to practice and deepen our understanding of the Copperplate letterforms, while putting the letters to use, lettering poems, creating a family tree, exploring offhand flourishing and more. 

This course assumes one knows the basics of the pointed pen. Handouts will be made available digitally. There will not be a class packet to purchase.

ONLINE INFORMATION

The class will be recorded and made available to students.

TIME: Each 2-hour class is a diverse combination of learning about the art of calligraphy, seeing samples, student lettering and creating projects. There will also be an assignment to practice the skill that was introduced. This return to lettering is a great way to create the muscle memory that is so important to calligraphy.

Each class also builds on the class before and does not repeat the same information.
