2020/2021 This design is inspired by Mary Oliver’s powerful line, “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild & precious life?”

And for all the wildness of this year, it seems to have magnified the precious nature of the journey we are on. For me, it blessed me with time to work with others to protect a local forest, intense focus on society’s inequities and the preciousness of all lives—especially neglected communities & yearning for greater healing in my relationship with nature.  

May the purple (the color of creativity!) at the center of this design remind us of the powerful creative force that can reimagine, reinvent and reconnect us with nature. Amidst the swirling chaos of life, may we attend to the quiet place inside each of us where our loving presence and creative fire burns and so desperately wants to shine forth.
